IN2U is created by David & Deanna, performing originally as a duo and has successfully established, within the past 2 years, a loyal fan base and continue to perform at various venues in the Hamilton/Burlington and GTA. IN2U is also a 4 piece band, featuring Dave Smylie on Drums and Vocals, and Ray Poirer on Bass Guitar and Vocals. IN2U Band has been received very well, and is gathering steam. We are working on something very special for the band, and will keep you informed.

Both IN2U Duo & Band play a similar genre of music, so depending on the parameters of your venue or event, the duo or the band are available to suit your needs.

News

Join us Saturday, February 11th, at the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry Hall ( 1353 Barton St E  Hamilton )for a Valentines Performance. We start at 8:30 PM. 5 dollar cover at the door.

We are very happy to have been invited by Chris Walker and the Wizened Old Men, to perform at the Rock'n Blues for Children's Causes this year, held at Boston Manor, Burlington. March 4th, 2012. 10 Bands, and the music starts at 2 PM and goes until 7 PM. We are playing at 3 PM. Money raised goes to the Pediatric Oncology Ward at McMaster Children's Hospital. Come on out and support live music, and more importantly, McMaster Childrens Hospital. We will update the page when we have more details. The website for this event is here.
Rock'n Blues Jam

Ashbridges Bay Yacht Club, for Carolyn's Birthday Party, a couple of weeks ago. Who knew we would be playing a yacht club in the middle of winter? But everyone had a great time. Thanks Ralph.


Thanks to everyone that came out to see us last year. 2012 is going to be an amazing year (17 gigs already booked for 2012). IN2U played almost 100 gigs last year.

Guitarist David Cross placed 3rd in the recent 2011 Roland Guitar Synth Challenge. He won a Godin Freeway SA Guitar, a Roland BR-80 Micro Multi-Track Recorder, and Cakewalk Sonar Digital Audio Workstation Software. You can check out his winning entry on the YouTybe Channel as well.

Past Performances

Wow. Even better turnout than last time, at McLeods American House, Friday Feb 3, 2012. We performed as a 4 pc band, for the first time there, and it went well. So nice to see so many friends and supporters out to see us.

Played Ned Devines in Milton, Feb 4th, and got young Mario up to sing a few songs with us. Mario already has a fan base :-) Thanks Mario, we will see you in March.

The turnout at the Galley Pump on Nov 12th, was really good, and thanks to Dave B, Ray, and his friends, for recording us. Look for that video very soon on our YouTube Channel. Great to see George at his Famous Toronto Establishment, Duke Live, with the Band, Nov 4, 2011.

Had a really great time performing Saturday September 17th, at Ray and Linda's 120th Birthday Bash in Long Point. Wait, you said 120th??...You see they both had birthdays and......you figure it out... :-) Wonderful performance by Sandi Stirling, playing pieces from her upcoming album, and then Deanna, Ray, David, and almost everyone else, on some form of percussion (maracas, shaker, cowbell, tambourine, spoons). And the icing on the cake, Morris on Accordian. Speaking of cake, great food as well.

Hidden Valley Resort, Normandale, Ontario (IN2U Band) What a great turnout, long weekend, July 30th. performing for all the campers. It was an amazing night for us, the weather was great, crowd as well. Thanks Court and Sandi! Cant wait to come back next year.

Hard Rock Cafe, Niagara Falls, Ontario (IN2U Duo) - Our first gig at one of the most famous clubs in North America, with guest performances by Greg Franklin on Guitar, A very talented individual on Spoons, and a surprise visit from a 6 foot Tree Frog. Jitterbug Cafe Waterdown (IN2U Duo Unplugged) Jitterbug's Music Night 8 PM Fri July 22nd. Shelley had the place completely filled. A great time, and we made a lot of new friends that night. Also, this highlighted a different side of IN2U. Just two acoustic guitars. Pics to be posted very soon.

The IN2U Band (Jim on drums, Brian Rutherford, Bassist for Up Front, filling in for Ray, Deanna on vocals and guitar, and David on vocals and guitar) performed at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, Niagara Falls, Sat, July 9th. What an experience! Thanks for Randy Withers for the booking (LiveBookingAssociates), Shane for a great job on Sound, Barb, the Manager, all the staff, and all who came out to see us. This was the first time this year that margaritaville had a band, and we are honoured to be the first.

Thanks to everyone that came out to support us and listen to the IN2U Band at Oh Canada Ribfest June 30th. Our second year in a row and we had an amazing time. Special thanks to Aaron for filling in on bass for Ray, great job. Performed our inaugural gig at Black Swan, July 2nd.
